PNI biologist and my knowledge of EBV is based on a combination of academic training, specialisation and continuous study.
On the one hand, my academic training in Biology, which provided me with a solid foundation in virology, immunology and biomedicine, allowing me to understand the mechanisms of EBV infection, latency and reactivation from a scientific perspective. This was followed by the Master in Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) with Xevi Verdaguer, where I delved into the relationship between EBV and the immune system, its impact on autoimmune diseases and how factors such as stress, microbiota and inflammation can favour its reactivation. I then continued my studies in Microimmunotherapy as a member of the Spanish Association of Microimmunotherapy, broadening my knowledge of the therapeutic approach to EBV through microimmunotherapy and exploring strategies to modulate the immune response and favour the remission of the virus. Finally, the classes with Josepa Rigau. I live in Cadiz, but whenever I can I try to reach her training proposals to understand more deeply the interaction of EBV with the immune system and how to approach it from a systemic-integrative perspective.
Compétences : It is thanks to this combination of expertise that I run a complementary therapy practice where I offer a science-based approach to the management of Epstein-Barr supporting diagnosed patients in seeing beyond the impact it has on their health.
