5,000 scientific studies on EBV published

Since its discovery in 1964, nearly 5,000 scientific studies on EBV have been published, including more than 1,000 in the last 5 years. Indeed, this virus co-discovered by Sir Anthony Epstein and Dr. Yvonne Barr is one of the most complex human viruses: learning about EBV and deciphering its mode of action allows us to better understand how the human immune system works.
