With a blood test prescribed by my doctor.

How did you react?

I wanted to know more about this disease.

What are your symptoms? How are you supported (doctor, family, association…)?

I am tired, I have muscle pain, tingling, dizziness and tachycardia. I am in contact with the AFC, my doctor has no solution.

How does the Epstein Barr virus affect your daily life?

I had to stop working and I have almost no social life because I can’t plan anything because of the fatigue and other symptoms that get worse as soon as I exceed my limits.

Why do you think it is important to raise awareness about the virus?

People believe that it is a benign virus that is not serious and do not understand that one can be sick for so long (20 months for me)

Would you like to share anything else about your experience?

It is difficult to make the people around you understand what you are going through with this alternation of better days and relapses.
